Founded with a vision for the love of guitars and all thing guitar, our vision is to provide top quality guitar lessons and guitar maintenance services here in sunny Singapore.

Started from a humbled home-based establishment back in 2022, Guitar Movement SG has grown and expanded into a 800sq ft guitar school and repair space with 3 classrooms, providing individual 1-1 and group lessons.

Our team comprises up of highly passionate individuals in the music industry, from teachers specializing in guitar education from accredited music schools with years of music experience.

Joel started out Guitar Movement SG with the vision to provide quality guitar education and maintenance here in Singapore.

Having graduated with a BA (Hons) in Music from Lasalle College of the Arts, specializing in guitar performance, he has been teaching electric, acoustic guitar and ukulele privately through one-to-one coaching and groups for the past 8 years, teaching a variety of over 100 students, ranging from 10-70 years old, and is versed with students of various ages and backgrounds.

Being a seasoned guitarist in the music industry, Joel has performed at various venues such as The Star Theatre, Hard Rock Coliseum, Esplanade and various locations in Singapore, with notable events including opening for international Rock band Scorpions and Whitesnake, and Japanese metal band Lovebites.

Danial Sahrani

Guitar Instructor

LASALLE College of the Arts

Danial graduated with a BA (Hons) Music degree, specializing in popular performance in 2024. An aspiring musician with over a decade of practical experience, Danial’s repertoire of genres includes pop, rock, fusion and classical.

He plays both the classical and electric guitar, and enjoys teaching others, looking to inspire students to follow their passion for music.

Danial's notable performances include performing in Hikayat Malim Dewa, for Bulan Bahasa (2017) as well as the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival (2018). He also serves as an instructor under Temasek Polytechnic's Music Vox CCA group.

Nguyen Tan

Guitar Instructor

Nguyen is currently a student at LASALLE College of the Arts pursuing a Diploma in Audio Production due to his interest in music and audio technology.

He has been a guitar and music theory enthusiast since he first picked up the instrument. Nguyen's guitar journey began 7 years since his dad brought home a guitar and its been then he fell in love with the instrument.

Learning the guitar later in life has granted him an opportunity to reflect and recognize the difficulties many novices face and his mission is to assist and motivate students through this enriching journey.
